Oh yeah and on the antennae on a HMMWV to my knowledge we strap them down because they tend to break when they are raised and bouncing around, BUT,,,,, now that I know a thing or two about signal propagation you are probably right. Sadly in line units the Commo guys usually guard thier wizardry or don’t knowabout.

I made it to the end, even though you guys made fun of me for being a BOOMER, and a HAM, BUT this is exactly what I am into. I didn’t know it when I got my amature, but then I started finding you, Wyoming Survival, Florida, etc....I am a BN S3 in the reserves, and recently escaped California. great content this series so far is a one stop shop for all my questions.
